Testimonials from our students
We teach Czech to individual students, groups of friends and married couples, but we also run courses in large companies such as Ipsos and Open Gate School.
I had Monika as my Czech language teacher for 2 years. We started out as a small group working for the first year and went 1:1 during the second. Whether the lesson was in person or online, Monika is an incredibly motivating educator with a talent for explaining difficult Czech grammar topics, including cultural context and infusing fun into every lesson. She also strives to make each lesson cater to your needs as a student. As a fellow teacher I learned a lot from her not only about methodology and approach, but also how to be a better Czech speaker!

I've studied Czech with Kateřina since 2017, in group courses and as a private student. In 2022, I passed the B1 language exam required for Czech citizenship. Kateřina's lessons are always engaging and practical, and she trains all language skills regularly - speaking, grammar, listening, reading, writing, and even Czech cultural awareness. What makes Kateřina a standout teacher is her ability and willingness to correct errors consistently. She's great at knowing when to correct errors in the moment and when to save them for later, so not to interrupt your train of thought. I would recommend lessons with Kateřina without hesitation! She's friendly, smart, and funny, and a teacher who'll motivate you and celebrate your success. You'll definitely improve your Czech if you study with Kateřina.

I've had Monika as my Czech teacher for several years and I absolutely love her teaching style, both online and in person. Our lessons are completely online now and I couldn't be happier. She gives me space to speak about the things that are important to me, corrects my mistakes, and gives me the grammar I need for the next stage of my learning. She uses pictures, videos, and songs, making the lessons very interactive. She helps me with the Czech I need for my everyday situations, and supports me in the Czech I want for conversations about animals and nature. I highly recommend Monika as a teacher of Czech for foreigners.

I am so happy to have Katka as my teacher. She always comes to our lessons prepared with interesting and useful topics, and she is incredibly patient even when I make the same mistakes over and over again. Katka has helped me make significant progress, and she always supports me when I come to her with a new goal, like preparing for an exam. I really look forward to my lessons with her, and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Czech!
